Hundreds of Tesla Model S and Model X owners gathered in China recently to set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘largest parade of Tesla cars’.
Although all sorts of new world records get set all the time, sometimes for the strangest things, these Model Xs did look pretty cool, ‘flapping their wings’ together.
Only 6 000 of the Silicon Valley-based company’s vehicles were sold in China in 2016, compared with nearly 30 000 in the United States. However, the demand for electric vehicles in China is steadily increasing and the Chinese are known for their love of luxury vehicles, so Tesla is well positioned to expect sales growth in the country.
