The much-anticipated 2016 Toyota Fortuner has been spotted in Thailand without any camouflage.
The 2016 Toyota Fortuner is based on the 2016 Toyota Hilux, which received its official reveal a little while ago.
What is clear from the three pictures snapped in Thailand is that, unsurprisingly, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner will be heavily influenced by the new Hilux.
Like the Hilux, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner has a big and shiny grille, as well as a sloping nose. The rear of the vehicle is more reminiscent of the current Fortuner, with a little bit of Prado thrown in.
What will power the 2016 Toyota Fortuner? Nothing is official yet, but it seems very likely that it will have the same 2,4-litre and 2,8-litre oilburners as the Hilux.
Since the 2016 Toyota Hilux has officially been revealed, it probably won’t be long until more details regarding the 2016 Toyota Fortuner are also released. The vehicle will probably go on sale globally before the end of the year.
