According to Autoblog, Bentley is aiming to build the fastest SUV in the world.
If what Autoblog is saying is accurate, and it states that the information comes from “emerging reports coming in from the UK”, the Bentley SUV will boast the sort of speed that was once reserved for hypercars.
The aim is for the SUV to reach the magical top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h), which for a vehicle that will be about six feet wide, is pretty fast.
Is this report accurate? Will Bentley’s vehicle truly be able to reach 320 km/h? Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see. Autoblog was given only this official response from Bentley: ” The SUV is in the engineering development stage, so unfortunately it’s too soon to discuss performance figure. It will of course have all the power and performance that one would expect from a Bentley!”
At the moment, the Cayenne Turbo S holds the record at 175 mph (280 km/h).
