Support road safety for kids by cycling for charity in Team Wheel Well at this year’s 947 Cycle Challenge.
As motorists, motoring journalists and as passengers we make daily use of the South African roads, potentially putting ourselves and our children at risk due to the high accident rate in our country.
Wheel Well is the only non-profit organisation that focuses exclusively on road safety for children in South Africa. The organisation raises awareness, educates and effects changes and enforces legislation on issues surrounding road safety pertaining to children both in and around vehicles.
You have an opportunity to support Wheel Well by cycling for charity at this year’s 947 Cycle Challenge, as Team Wheel Well rides again.
R1500 will get you an entry (R475), a cycling shirt (R389) and the balance of R636 will be donated to Wheel Well. If you already have a shirt and an entry, only the R636 donation to Wheel Well is payable. Race timing chips are at your own expense.
Wheel Well is aiming for 50 riders and a fundraising total of R100 000. Section 18A receipts will be issued for all amounts over R500.
