Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti, has achieving its best ever sales result in Europe for the first half of 2016.
Sales reached 9 535 units, up 177 percent when compared to the same period last year. This June Infiniti sold 1 586 vehicles, which is a 154 percent increase on June 2015.
The most successful market was France, where 2 190 examples have been delivered so far, up 260 percent.
“We are very proud of the sales achievements we have made in 2016 this far. The results highlight the trust that customers have in our vehicles. With the QX30 premium active crossover, the newly upgraded Q50 sports sedan and the all-new Q60 premium sports coupe to be launched later this year, we are confident to continue our success in Europe”, commented Infiniti’s EMEA VP, Francois Goupil de Bouille.
By way of comparison, motoring giant Toyota’s luxury brand, Lexus, sold 36 405 vehicles in Europe in the first half of this year.
