From Monday, 25th July, the all-new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 will be available for order in the UK.
Before the creation of the AT35, Arctic Trucks had enhanced the D-Max (KB bakkie in our market) for rescue and highland utility work. This experience is said to have heavily influenced the creation of the AT35.
Based on the Isuzu KB and retaining the 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine (that produces 120kW and 400Nm), Arctic Trucks have made a number of modifications.
The suspension has been re-engineered with Fox Performance Series dampers and raised by 125mm. The wheel-arches have been enlarged to allow for all-terrain, 35-inch Nokian Rotiiva tyres to encase the 17-inch wheels.
The bakkie will be available in both double-cab and extended-cab versions and will be the first Arctic Trucks bakkie in the UK range. Prices go from £30 999 (about R583 000) for the extended-cab model and up to £34 499 (around R649 000) for the double-cab auto.
