RGMotorsport have taken their existing upgrade to the Jeep Wrangler’s Pentastar engine and upped the power and torque even further to a very notable 365kW and 551Nm.
The Strydom Park-based company’s tuning guru, Steven Green, comments, “We took a conservative approach when we first supercharged the Jeep but with positive feedback from the field and our ongoing research, we made a decision to upgrade the upgrade.”
The latest upgrade squeezes out an extra 49kW and 34Nm from previous V6 upgrade.
Wrangler Limited and Unlimited owners who would like to get a boost from the stock standard 209kW and 347Nm will receive a five percent reduction on the normal price of the conversion from now until the end of the year. Jeep Wrangler owners will pay R133 000 – and drive away with more power than the brand’s performance flagship, the Grand Cherokee SRT8.
As with all RGM conversions, the Jeep Wrangler Supercharged comes with a six month, 20 000 kilometre warranty.
