The managing director of Land Rover’s Special Vehicles Operations, John Edwards, has announced that the manufacturer’s off-road variants will be labeled “SVX”.
Other than that, the details are rather sketchy at best, but we expect SVX vehicles to have overlanding ability far beyond that of a standard production vehicle.
Upgrades will likely include new tyres and an extra driving mode on the terrain response system. Though it’s not confirmed, we also expect a host of approved Land Rover accessories aimed at the avid 4×4 enthusiast.
