Mercedes has revealed the first design sketch of the upcoming competitor to the BMW X4, the GLC Coupé.
This new model is based on the second-generation GLK, which will be called the GLC thanks to Merc’s new renaming structure. We never received the GLK in SA, but there’s little doubt that we’ll get the new model once it’s made available internationally.
The GLC Coupé will likely be powered by the same line-up of engines used in the current C-Class, which features a mixture of four- and six-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel powertrains.
An AMG variant, sporting a bi-turbo 4,0-litre V8 might also be in the pipeline…
