The new Jeep Compass that replaces both the existing Compass and Patriot models has been unveiled.
The SUV will be manufactured at FCA’s Brazilian Jeep Assembly Plant in Goiana, Pernambuco and will feature range of 17 fuel-efficient powertrain options across its worldwide market.
Complete details about the new Compass have not yet been released but it is expected to be powered by either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 2.4-liter four-cylinder mill, both paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The new Jeep Compass will officially debut at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show in November and will go on sale in North America in the first quarter of 2017 debut .
