A disguised BMW X6 has been spied testing near the Arctic Circle.
From the picture, it’s easy to see that not much has changed from the previous-generation model.
The fact that the new X5 looks almost identical to the outgoing model is also an indication of BMW’s styling direction. The X6 will likely have the X5’s face at the front and that sloping hatch like rear that made the X6 so controversial in the first place, at the rear.
We expect it will share its powerplants with the X5 as well. The range will include a twin-turbo V8 petrol, twin-turbo six-cylinder diesel and the mighty tri-turbo six-cylinder diesel with an M badge at the rear.
No reveal or release date has been set for the X6, but we expect it on our roads sometime in 2015.
