Volvo’s in-house tuning division, Polestar, has announced that it’s currently working on a faster version of the all-new XC90.
It will still use the same 2,0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the standard T6, but power will be increased to somewhere in the 260kW region.
It will likely be a brisk machine, but it’s still nowhere near the T8 hybrid XC90, which has a combined power output of 298kW.
Still, it should be a lot cheaper and it looks a lot meaner thanks to that amazing Polestar body kit, as can be seen on the photo above.
