It was rumoured a while ago that Porsche was planning on unveiling a 911 Safari concept that would follow in the footsteps of the 1978 911 SC Safari rally car that was based on the 991 Carrera 4S. For whatever reason, that never happened.
However, digital car manipulator X-Tomi has taken it upon himself to create a more off-road ready Porsche Cayman in the form of a Cayman Safari. The vehicle has slightly beefier tyres, a bit more ground clearance and black plastic wheel arches.
To be sure, there is very little chance of this sort of vehicle ever seeing production, but X-Tomi should nevertheless be commended for a job well done. We think this design looks fantastic.
