After watching this you won’t be able to wait to see Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s debut in the Grand Tour that will streaming on the UK’s Amazon Prime on 18 November.
According to reports in the UK’s The Sun, the opening scene of The Grand Tour cost over 2.5 million pounds (R43-million) to film and produce.
Shot in the Californian desert it shows Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond driving three modified Ford Mustangs with a further 150 cars, 2,000 petrolheads, six jet planes, acrobats and stilt-walkers in toe.
This Mad Max-style opening is claimed to be “the most expensive ever seen on the small screen”.
