Renault Captur becomes Samsung QM3
The super-compact Renault Captur SUV has been released in South Korea under the name of the Samsung QM3. Now, this isn’t quite as strange as it seems as first. Samsung, a South Korean company, is a far bigger name in the country than Renault is. Moreover, the South Korean unit of Renault is actually Renault Samsung Motors.
The vehicle, which is really just a rebadged Captur (as the Samsung QM3) went on sale in Korea on 20 November. And according to the company, around 5000 orders have already been placed, so it looks as if the this little Samsung SUV is going to be quite a success.
