Whether you loved or hated Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear, there’s no denying that his removal from the hit show signals the end of an era. So, with this in mind, Toyota UK has released a video paying tribute to the presenter.
Though many probably think of BBC’s Top Gear show as a millennial creation, it has actually been around since 1977. Clarkson joined the show in 1988. The show was (briefly) cancelled in 2001, but returned the following year in the format that we know today.
During his almost 30 years on the show, Clarkson has obviously driven (and mangled) many, many Toyotas, so the company has compiled a tribute of sorts, showing his long and storied Toyota association.
