Volvo has announced an all-new three-cylinder engine that will be made available in its line-up.
This new powertrain will probably be used in the new V70, but it might be made available in Volvo’s smaller, upcoming compact crossovers as well.
Power output details of the new three-cylinder aren’t available yet, but the engine will have a range of power outputs, topping out at 132kW.
As Volvo’s new drive-E engines are being developed with fuel economy in mind, we’re expecting this small powertrain to deliver exceptional fuel consumption figures as well.
