Volvo’s V40 Cross Country falls somewhere between a traditional station wagon, a hatch and a crossover. Now, though, the company’s tuning company is developing a package that transforms the vehicle into a more rugged XC Volvo crossover.
Heico Sportiv, Volvo’s official tuning partner, is busy designing a package that turns the V40 Cross Country into a more aggressive crossover. The company is apparently still busy working on the conversion, but it has released this digitally-manipulated image to show the final product will look like.
On the outside, the package will include broader fenders with mudguards, larger wheels and a new suspension that raises ground clearance by 30mm. The fenders are apparently attached to the car with 3M adhesive tape to prevent any cutting or drilling on the body.
