VW has introduced the Cross Caddy to the SA market.
The Cross Caddy features exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels and a few other distinctive design elements, like black fairings on the wheel housings and silver coloured roof rails, that help it look slightly more rugged than the standard passenger derivative.
The Cross Caddy has a number of convenience gadgets to make everyday living easier. These include hill hold assist, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel and heated front seats. As standard it comes with five seats, but a seven-seat option is available.
The Cross Caddy is offered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 81kW and 250Nm on tap. It’s mated to a five-speed manual transmission. VW claims a fuel consumption figure 5,7 l/100km.
It retails for R340 600 and comes as standard with a three-year/120 000km warranty. Service and maintenance plans are optional.
