This is an easy and tasty dish that should feed two adults and two kids with ease.
What you need
- 250 – 300g macaroni
- 250g bacon
- 250g chicken
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can of Chakalaka
- A pinch of garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A pinch of sugar
- 1 tub of Ina Paarman chicken stock powder
- 30ml chutney
- 60ml mayonaise
- 1 cup of water
- 125ml Country Pasture Housewife’s cheese powder (found at most supermarkets)
What to do
- Fry the chopped onion, bacon and garlic until the bacon is done
- Now add all your other ingredients, mix very well, and place in oven-safe dish
- Bake for around 35 minutes in an oven that has been pre-heated to 180 degrees Celsius
- Tip: Do not fry the chicken in advance, otherwise it will be overdone and unpleasant by the end of the process
