This month we were inspired by Dante, so we travelled all he way down the Road to Hell and emerged again after a few hours. Instead of walking, as Dante did, we made use of a modified Foton Tunland.
Our usual content includes a soft-roader expedition in the Mitsubishi ASX and road tests that focus on the Subaru Forester and Nissan Patrol Pick-up. We also did an unusual road test starring a Toyota Hilux V8 racing bakkie.
The adventure segment includes a trip down to Mpumalanga to dehorn a few rhinos and a close look at the Croatia Trophy 4×4 competition.
In the technology section we take a closer look at the installation of an off-road suspension. The mechanical phenomenon that is axle binding is also discussed at great length.
Finally, we say hello to an all-new Hyundai Tucson joining our long-term fleet and look back at the Jeep Cherokee in the Retro Ride section.
