A demolition crew working is working on a multi-storey car park in Reading, New Zealand after it was deemed structurally unsafe following the earthquake that hit the country in November 2016. Five cars were stranded in the parking lot, including the Nissan Navara bakkie, which was removed on using a long arm excavator on 26 January 2017 and dropped six storeys to the ground.
It is reported by local news that insurance companies refused to pay for the vehicles until they had been destroyed. Mission complete.
