This Land Rover Discovery has been converted to a fully-blown rally car and it’s currently up for auction on Ebay. Thanks to the video above that has gone viral, the car is well known in rally circles.
It took five years for the car to be completed and it has competed in stage rallies, according to Carscoops with ‘with good results’.
This crazy piece of machinery is fitted with BMW’s 3.0-litre S50B30 inline-six straight from a Euro-spec E36 M3 tuned to deliver 260kW mated with a manual TD5 gearbox with a lightened and shortened transfer box that had its low-range removed.
To allow for maximum acceleration, as in any true rally car, the seller states that the car is geared down for a top speed of around 169km/h.
This Disco also comes with lots of spare tyres, as well as new panels, oil coolers and other bits and bobs.
For those who would like to place a bid, the Land Rover Discovery rally car can be found on Ebay.
