Range Rover Sport’s insane Inferno Downhill sprint

8 November 2016

This video is well worth five minutes of your time. In it you’ll witness an insane descent of the Inferno Mürren downhill ski course with Ben Collins, formerly the “Stig”, behind the wheel of the new a 5.0-litre Range Rover Sport.
He covers 14.9 kilometres of severe terrain, descending more than 2000m on a gradient of up to 75% over ice, loose rock, mud, broken asphalt, grass and gravel…and he doesn’t do it slowly either.

It takes Collins only 21 minutes and 36 seconds to get the the bottom and he takes the Range Raver to speeds of up to speeds of 155kph.

‘This was genuinely one of the hardest tests I’ve faced in my driving career. The route was insane and certainly the toughest course I’ve ever completed,’ said Collins.
