A few years ago Jeremy Clarkson went to the Nürburgring with a Jaguar and attempted to set a sub 10 minute time.
He succeeded, but his coach, Sabine Schmitz, was not impressed. That where the famous line, “I could do that time in a van,” comes from.
Sabine tried to set that time in a van, but couldn’t. Now, years later, British Touring Car Championship driver, Rob Austin, attempted the same.
