Volvo’s are renowned for their innovative safety features, but it seems they don’t always work as intended.
A few guys tried to test the pedestrian detection system on a XC60 recently and it didn’t work, resulting in two people being slightly injured after the SUV crashed into them.
We’re not entirely sure what happened, but we’ve seen loads of these pedestrian demonstrations before and they’ve worked every single time.
Perhaps the driver simply forgot to activate it before he set off…
Luckily, nobody was seriously injured.
