The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica MPV replaces the Chrysler Grand Voyager and pricing has just been released in the US.
It will be offered in both hybrid and petrol versions. The petrol versions uses the brand’s 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine which produces 214kW and 355Nm of torque and is mated to a nine-speed TorqueFlite automatic gearbox.
According to Chrysler, the hybrid version is the world’s first electrified minivan and will offer an estimated all-electric range of 48km.
Offered in LX, Touring, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus and Limited editions, the new Pacifica has a suggested retail price of $28,595 for the base model and a cost of $42,495 for the range topper. It is not yet clear whether the Pacifica will be made available in South Africa.
