Following hot on the heels of the teaser images of the new Mazda CX-4 crossover released by the manufacturer, some photos of the car were leaked online via a Chinese website.
The vehicle has similar coupe-like profile as BMW’s X4 and Mercedes-Benz’s GLC Coupe, wears Mazda’s signature grille that is flanked by slim headlights with LED technology. The rear sports taillights similar to what can be found on the rest of the range.
China’s Auto163 reports that the Mazda CX-4 will get two four-cylinder petrol engines, a 118kW 2.0-liter and a 143kW 2.5-liter, adopted from the CX-5. The sportier CX-4 is said to be 78 mm longer and 175 mm lower than the CX-5, while maintaining the same width and wheelbase length.
Full details on the crossover will be announced on April 25, when it debuts at the Beijing Auto Show. At the moment it’s rumoured that the CX-4 will be available in China only.
