Mitsubishi reveals PHEV concept

23 September 2014

Mitsubishi has revealed the Outlander PHEV Concept before it makes its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.

The concept is basically just a fancy body designed to fit on top of the current Outlander PHEV, which is a plug-in hybrid currently on sale in the UK.

Mitsubishi has stated that the concept was built as a design exercise to make the PHEV stand out from the rest of the Outlander range.

Unfortunately, the PHEV isn’t available in SA, so chances are we’ll never see this beautiful SUV on our roads.

Why on earth didn’t they make the new series Outlander look something like this instead of making it look like a sad puppy?
