The 2019 Consumer Electronics Show currently on in Las Vegas in the USA is playing host to a few car launches as well as some interesting car-related tech.
One thing that caught our eye is XtraVue’s Trailer system, which uses a host of cameras and a display that helps you see through your trailer or caravan. In basic terms, it turns the thing invisible.
The various cameras are used to render a single display of what’s going on behind the trailer, as if it weren’t there.
The only downside is the slab-like LCD display, but XtraVue is currently working on a solution that will allow them to integrate into factory-fitted infotainment systems.
