A man from Botswana recently had a nasty run-in with a wild crocodile near the Rust de Winter dam in Limpopo.
Volksblad recently reported that Bazil Roth was dragged out of his tent while he was sleeping.
Roth and his friend had seen the 2,4 metre crocodile earlier that evening, but weren’t afraid of it entering the camp as crocodiles aren’t in the habit of doing so.
Later that evening the crocodile entered the camp and got hold of Roth’s left foot. Roth managed to kick his way free and proceeded to throw camping chairs and other camping equipment at it.
The duo then moved further up from the dam, where they were left in peace by the crocodile.
