BMW will be introducing an updated version of its X5 eDrive concept at the New York Motor Show later this month.
The specifications remain the same as before. It has a TwinPower 2,0-litre four-cylinder engine developing 180kW, working with a 70kW electric motor. This works out to a combined power output somewhere in the region of 200kW.
BMW claims a fuel consumption figure of just 3,8 l/100km, which, if true, will set a new standard in the segment.
Nothing else is known about the updated concept, except for the fact that it’s a more “refined” version than the one we saw at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
