The Volkswagen Tiguan, Seat Ateca and Alfa Romeo Giulia all earned a five-star safety rating in the latest series of tests conducted by Euro NCAP.
The 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan scored 96 percent in Adult Occupant, 84 percent in Child Occupant, 72 percent in Pedestrian and 68 percent in Safety Assist segments. Its overall ratings were Good, except for the driver and passenger dummies’ chest in the frontal offset test, which were noted as Adequate, while the rear passenger’s chest protection in the frontal full width was rated as Marginal.
