Two Audi Q2 SUV models will be available in South Africa initially, although here is the pricing for the the entire local line-up that will comprise seven models.
As reported by CAR magazine, the Q2 will start from R434 500, for the basic 1.0T FSI variant with a six-speed manual gearbox, which has peak outputs of 85kW and 200Nm. You’ll pay an extra R18 500 for the same triple turbocharged engine but mated to to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
These two engine and gearbox combinations will also be available with the “Sport” trim, priced at R464 500 and R483 000, respectively.
The 1.4-litre TSI engine that delivers 110 kW and 250 Nm will also be offered with the option of either a manual (R511 000) or dual-clutch (R529 500) transmission. Both derivatives will feature the Sport specification.
The 2.0-litre TDI with an output of 105 kW and 340 Nm will top the South African range and is the priciest at R565 000.
Take note that not all variants will be available from launch.
