This 1969 VW crew bus is a perfect example of an EV Conversion. People are basically taking modern electric powertrains and transplanting them into old cars that have enough space to house both the electric motor(s) and the batteries.
This VW has the electric motor from a Tesla Model S, powered by the 100kWh battery pack from a Model X.
The owner says it will run to 100km/h in around five seconds.
