The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on global motorsport, with all events either cancelled or postponed at this point.
This means a number of teams have been sitting around with not much to do. So what do you do when you have a fully-functioning workshop dedicated to building racecars, but no racecars to build or fix?
Well, in the case of SB Motorsport, you come up with the craziest concept you can think of and spend all your free time dedicated to it.
SM Motorsport is under the custodianship of Stephen Biagioni, who happens to be the British Drift Champion.
Biagioni just happened to have a drift-spec Nissan GT-R from a few years ago standing around and to keep himself and his team occupied, they decided to fit the engine from that car to a Nissan Navara.
Yup, folks. This unassuming black Navara will receive the 746kW engine from a Nissan GT-R. Obviously other modifications will be made as well, but the plan is to keep the interior completely stock.
