April 2016 Issue

As you may have noticed, this edition of the magazine is the first to feature the all-new design. We hope you like it as much as we do.

As for what we got up to this month, let’s start with our 1200km round-trip in the all-new Hyundai Tucson. This includes some highway driving, as well as driving of the more spirited variety on some mountain passes.

In the road test segment we look at the Ford Ranger 2,2-litre diesel, while the comparative feature includes the GWM M4 and the Renault Sandero Stepway.

We also shatter the world speed record for a Chinese vehicle in the JMC Landwind.

History buffs will enjoy the our new retro rides feature, which features one of three original Jeeps in SA. Oh, and don’t forget about Deziree, our new Defender Series 2 project vehicle.

Finally, we took a closer look at one of the toughest 4×4 challenges on the planet, the Ecuador 4×4 competition, which takes place on an active volcano.
