November 2019

November 2019 Issue

This month is something of a celebration for us. In 1997, Jannie Herbst and Adri Bezuidenhout flew themselves to the US to check out the Mercedes-Benz South Africa ML. Later that year this magazine was born, setting new standards in the leisure travel segment.

This month we’re recreating that issue’s article using the latest incarnation of the #Mercedes-Benz #GLE. It’s an awesome piece of blast-from-the-past artsy yet cutting edge design.

We were also in the #Cederberg with a herd of Ford Rangers, exploring some well-known mountain passes as well as a few lesser-traveled ones. Like Bosluiskloof Pass, and Rooiberg Pass.

We also took a campervan for a drive to explore the Garden Route.

If you enjoy reading our tests, you’re in luck this month. We’ve got four for you the #BMW #X7 M50d, the #Opel #Crossland X, #Volkswagen #TCross and the #RangeRover #Velar #SVAutobiography.

In our Gear section we look at drones and two-way radios while our Campsite of the Month is Nature’s View. With a name like that, we know you’ll want to visit it.

We’ve trying something new this month and we’ve introduced a new section to the mag, Garage. In it, we’ve thrown our long-termers and Buying Used section, and we look at the Volkswagen Polo Vivo Dune.

As usual, there’s motorsport, Kingsley and Voetspore, photos and all the other regulars.
