The G-Class is widely regarded as one of the most unstoppable off-road vehicles in existence. With solid axles and differential locks at both the front and rear, there are very few places that the G-Class can’t go. So is there any reason for the existence of the seemingly absurd 6X6 version of the vehicle? Well, there is no doubt that six driven wheels are always better than four, and those chunky tyres on the 6X6 are certainly more suited to off-road travel than the standard low-profile ones the 4×4 AMG are shod with.
