For this year’s SEMA Show, Ford performance teamed up with the SEMA Garage to fully restore Jay Leno’s 1968 Bronco Wagon.
As you can see, it still looks stock standard from the outside and on the inside. Every surface was simply brought back to its former glory and we reckon it’s all the better for it.
Underneath, it’s a whole different story.
Instead of the original 1968 V8, this Bronco is now equipped with the 5.2-litre Predator V8 from the 2020 Mustang GT500. It’s supercharged as well, which means it’s good for 566kW and 850Nm.
Obviously the stock transmission and suspension wouldn’t be able to cope with that much power, which means the Bronco’s upgrade package also includes a five-speed Tremec transmission, high-performance transfer case, Wilwood brakes and a set of Fox’s race-series coilover shocks.
