In order to test the all-new Cherokee, Consumer Reports in the US bought two different models: a base four-cylinder Latitude model and a V6 Limited model.
They tested them both on and off road, and overall, they weren’t exactly blown away by them. While not terrible by any means, they still found the Cherokee a tad underwhelming, struggling to keep up with the competition. That said, they were pretty impressed with what this crossover – in Trailhawk guise – could manage off road. The Cherokee Trailhawk went were no Tiguan, Kuga or CR-V could go.
