This week we’ll finally get behind the wheel of the highly anticipated Ranger Raptor before it’s introduced internationally later this year.

It’s only the second model to wear the Raptor nomenclature officially, third if you’re counting unofficially.
The unofficial model is based on the giant F-350 truck and it’s built by a tuning house called Defco Trucks.

The Defco Mega Raptor comes with 46-inch tyres, the same bright blue paint as its more official brethren and a 335kW and 1260Nm 6.7-litre Powerstroke V8.
Obviously, a car like this deserves a special introduction, which is exactly what Defco Trucks did.
Instead of setting out a route and having journalists drive on it, Defco bought a bunch of second-hand cars and had the media drive over them.
