Mitsubishi UK has just added a new special edition to the Outlander PHEV’s range.
Britain’s best-selling plug-in hybrid is now available in the limited edition Juro, which comes with cruise control, 18-inch alloys, heated front seats and dual-zone climate control as standard features. Mitsubishi have also thrown in a free infotainment system with DVD, TomTom satellite navigation, smartphone integration and DAB radio in the GX3+ trim level.
The powertrain remains the same 2-litre petrol engine with an electric motor mounted on each axle for a combined output of 150kW and 51km of pure electric driving range.
Since the model’s official UK launch in 2014, Mitsubishi has sold more than 25 000 Outlander PHEVs in the this market alone, making it the most successful PHEV in Britain (in second place is the Nissan Leaf that has been on sale for twice the amount of time).
The Outlander PHEV Juro costs £32 749 (R562 500) – including the UK government’s plug-in grant.
