This is the Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi.
Earlier this year, the two-wheel drive Peugeot 3008DRK stormed to victory at the 2017 Dakar Rally, with Stephané Peterhansel behind the wheel. Peugeot have just revealed its successor the Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi, which as the name suggests is bigger than its predecessor, ‘with a wider track designed to help it conquer the gravel roads, dunes and mountains’.
“There’s only one thing more difficult than winning and that’s carrying on winning, against very strong opposition,” says Bruno Famin, Peugeot Sport Director. Only time will tell if Peugeot’s new mean machine can take the podium positions that the Peugeot Sport team desire.
