Land Rover buys Bowler

Ever since the all-new Land Rover Defender broke cover a few months ago, motoring fans have been wondering whether a go-faster model will form part of the range.

A hotter Defender has not been confirmed, but Land Rover recently bought Bowler. In case you don’t know what Bowler is, have a look at the video below. It’s basically the tuning firm responsible for building crazy Land Rovers and their Defender-based products are particularly good.

With this purchase, Bowler and Land Rover will obviously work closer together than ever before and model development will be more streamlined than ever before.

Bowler will join JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations, which is responsible for building go-faster and opulent Land Rovers straight from the factory.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we can’t wait to see the results of this purchase.
