SsangYong will unveil its new XLV (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle) at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.
The XLV is a new B-segment SUV concept with low CO2 emissions thanks to its hybrid system, which combines a 1,6-litre diesel engine with an electric motor powered by a lithium ion battery.
The XLV provides accommodation for seven passengers in an innovative 2+2+2+1 arrangement, where the seventh seat slides between the second and third rows for optimum flexibility.
It may also be a showcase for the design direction SsangYong is taking with its future models, but we’ll have to wait and see whether it finds favour with the European crowd at the Geneva Show.
