Chrysler chose Detroit to reveal the replacement for the ageing Grand Voyager.
Oddly, it won’t be called that anymore. Chrysler’s new minivan will be called the Pacifica.
It’s an impressive looking thing, which breaks away from the boxy design of its predecessor completely.
The Pacifica will also be a showcase for some new luxury features, including electrically powered sliding doors that open at the wave of a foot.
The engine line-up will likely include petrol and diesel options. A hybrid, with a 50km electric range, will form part of the range, but will likely not be including in the SA bound model range.
