Two different versions of the Renault Kwid have been unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Show, namely the climber and the racer.
The Kwid Climber and it is focused on a little light off-roading, with high ground clearance, short overhangs, biggish bumpers, side protective mouldings and a wider track. With a dinky 1-litre Sce engine (0.2-litres bigger than the standard Kwid) we’re not sure what to make of it? A funky looking toy?
Renault’s second variant the Kwid Racer “is more at home on the asphalt of race circuits”. we’re not sure if the Renault Kwid will make it to South Africa but the model has been successful in India, where approximately 90,000 orders have been placed since it was launched, four months ago.
