Bentley recently introduced the Bentayga Speed, which it claims is the world’s fastest SUV.
With a top speed of 305km/h, it’s officially 0.8km/h quicker than the Lamborghini Urus, which used to be the fastest SUV.
To achieve this top speed, Bentley upped the power from the 6.0-litre W12 engine to 466kW and 900Nm of torque. The sprint to 100km/h is down from 4.1 seconds to 3.9 seconds.
Exterior wise you can tell it apart from the tinted headlights, 22-inch alloy wheels, tailgate spoiler and “Speed” badges. The Speed theme is carried over on the inside where it feature Alcantara/leather seats with diamond stitching and more badges.
Bentley also says that it revised the “Sport” driving mode the provide better responses from the gearbox and engine. It’s also slightly firmer than the standard car and a few decibels louder.
It will make its official debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
