Carwow recently posted a video in which three bakkies battle it out off-road.
The bakkies in question are the VW Amarok V6, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak and the Toyota Hilux. The odd one out is the Hilux, as it’s equipped with the 2.4-litre GD-6 engine and not the full-fat 2.8-litre. Why? Well, the bakkie market isn’t that big in the UK and the 2.8-litre isn’t offered there.
Still, the tests are impressive and good fun to watch.
